Fear was all Elsa saw from people who witnessed her icy powers in Frozen, and that fear is what caused her severe mistrust in others. But now with the upcoming sequel Frozen 2, it’s her powers that may be the key to saving all of those people who once feared her.
Disney has unveiled a new Frozen 2 trailer, and there’s a brand new threat that forces Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Sven to explore new autumnal worlds. Kristen Bell, Josh Gad, Idina Menzel, and Jonathan Groff are back, along with new voicework from Sterling K. Brown and Evan Rachel Wood. Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee once again direct with new music from Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez that will have kids belting out catchy tunes for months after.
Here’s the synopsis: Why was Elsa born with magical powers? The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven, she’ll set out on a dangerous but remarkable journey. In “Frozen,” Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In “Frozen 2,” she must hope they are enough.
Frozen 2 hits theaters on November 22nd.
