Well, that didn’t take long. After Warner Bros. issued a statement refuting Justice League star Ray Fisher’s allegations against Joss Whedon and producers Jon Berg and Geoff Johns, not to mention DC Films President Walter Hamada, the actor has fired back…and he brought receipts.
Warner Bros. claims Fisher has been uncooperative with the investigator looking into the case, while they also dispute his claim that Hamada attempted to throw Berg and Whedon under the bus to save Johns. Fisher has now retaliated by tweeting out a screenshot of an email he sent immediately after meeting with the investigator. He also calls out their “desperate and scattershot” attacks against him…
Thank you all for the support and for seeing through @wbpictures desperate and scattershot attempt to discredit me to continue protecting those in power.
I met with the investigator via Zoom on Aug 26th. Below is an email I sent to my team and @sagaftra immediately after:

So yeah, that doesn’t look good. Warner Bros. appears to have twisted the situation to portray Fisher as being uncooperative, when he did in fact meet with the investigator. His request for proper representation is well within his rights, too.
Fisher then tweeted out again that WB has “escalated” the situation to a new level and he’s “ready to meet the challenge.”
This is only going to get worse. Especially now that Fisher is rallying support on social media, with the hashtag #IStandWithRayFisher trending on Twitter today. The last time a hashtag was armed against Warner Bros. they folded and gave fans the Snyder Cut. What happens now?
It’s also worth noting that I made it clear to the world on Aug 21st that I would be vetting the investigator to ensure a fair and protected process for all witnesses. @wbpictures has escalated this to an entirely different level, but I’m ready to meet the challenge.
