Enter at your own risk!! A24 has released a new trailer for Jeremy Saulnier’s Slayground, formerly titled October. This follows last month’s teaser that played more like a warning shot to anybody daring to enter a haunted Halloween attraction. The latest reveals quite a bit more of Saulnier’s long-awaited return to genre.
Cory Michael Smith stars as a worker at the haunted attraction who wakes up surrounded by dead bodies and with no memory of how they got there. With a huge manhunt underway, he must figure out the truth in time to clear his name…if he survives.
The ensemble includes Chase Sui Wonders, Sophie Wilde, Young Mazino, Stephen Root, James Badge Dale, Matty Matheson, Stanley Simons, and Imogen Poots. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross provide the score.
Slayground is Saulnier’s first film since 2024’s Rebel Ridge. He previously directed Murder Party, Blue Ruin, Green Room, and Hold the Dark. A24 will release the film in theaters on January 29th 2027.
