It’s going to be a Mad Max: Fury Road reunion on David Leitch and Amazon MGM’s heist flick How to Rob a Bank. Deadline reports Zoë Kravitz will rejoin her Fury Road co-star Nicholas Hoult in the film, which is already set to hit theaters on September 4th 2026.
There are still few details about How to Rob a Bank, other than it “centers on a group of savvy bank robbers who use social media to document their heists, playing a cat-and-mouse game with police.” Mark Bianculli wrote the screenplay and will exec-produce.
Kravitz joins a cast that includes Hoult, Anna Sawai, Pete Davidson, and Rhenzy Feliz.
Most recently, Kravitz released her feature directorial debut, Blink Twice, a psychological thriller that earned $48M against a $20M budget. She’ll be seen next in Darren Aronofsky’s crime film Caught Stealing opposite Austin Butler. And of course, Kravitz is also expected to reprise the role of Selina Kyle/Catwoman in The Batman: Part II whenever that gets rolling.
Leitch has quickly built a reputation is one of the preeminent action filmmakers around. Last year’s The Fall Guy was a box office disappointment but was well-received by critics and audiences. He also directed John Wick, Deadpool 2, Hobbs & Shaw, Bullet Train, and Atomic Blonde. As a former stuntman, Leitch makes sure there’s always cool visuals and plenty of stunt work so we should expect no less here.
