‘Deep Cover’ Trailer: Bryce Dallas Howard, Orlando Bloom, & Nick Mohammed Are Cast In The Roles Of A Lifetime

Fans of improv will want to give a “Yes, and…” to Prime Video this summer and the new crime comedy, Deep Cover. The film stars Bryce Dallas Howard as an improv teacher thrust into the criminal underworld when she and two of her students are recruited by the police for a sting operation.

Howard is joined by Lord of the Rings’ Orlando Bloom and Ted Lasso‘s Nick Mohammed who play her two improv pupils. The entire cast is great, though, and includes Ian McShane, Paddy Considine, Sean Bean, and Sonoya Mizuno.

The film is directed by Tom Fitzgerald (The Darkest Universe), but it’s the team of screenwriters that should get people’s attention.  Howard is reunited with Jurassic World duo Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly, who wrote the original screenplay along with Ben Ashenden and Alexander Owen.

SYNOPSIS: DEEP COVER is a fast-paced action comedy starring Bryce Dallas Howard as Kat, an improv comedy teacher beginning to question if she’s missed her shot at success. When an undercover cop (Sean Bean) offers her the role of a lifetime, she recruits two of her students (Orlando Bloom and Nick Mohammed) to infiltrate London’s gangland by impersonating dangerous criminals.

Deep Cover streams exclusively on Prime Video on June 12th.
