‘A Working Man’ Final Trailer: Jason Statham Goes To Work Against Human Traffickers

The Beekeeper was 2024’s first smash hit, and what was interesting about it is that it wasn’t that different from the typical Jason Statham formula. The difference? He was targeting folks we all hate with a passion: telemarketers and crooked politicians. It was good to see him unleash brutal justice on them for targeting seniors. And now for the next film from Statham and director David Ayer, A Working Man, we get to see human traffickers get the same treatment.

A final trailer for A Working Man has arrived from Amazon MGM Studios. Statham plays ex-Black Ops agent Levon Cade who has given up a life of violence to raise his daughter and be a construction worker. But when his boss’s daughter, who is very close to him, vanishes without a trace, Levon is forced to dust off those old ass-kicking skills again, uncovering a vast criminal conspiracy.

The film has a script co-written by someone you might have heard of: Sylvester Stallone. Yep, Statham’s Expendables pal co-wrote the screenplay based on Chuck Dixon’s novel, Levon’s Trade. It had been Stallone’s original idea to adapt it into a TV series.

SYNOPSIS: Levon Cade left behind a decorated military career in the black ops to live a simple life working construction. But when his boss’s daughter, who is like family to him, is taken by human traffickers, his search to bring her home uncovers a world of corruption far greater than he ever could have imagined.

Also starring Michael Pena and David Harbour, A Working Man opens in theaters on March 28th.
