Released in 2022, Talk To Me (review here) wasn’t just a huge $92M hit on a $4M budget, it was also A24’s highest-grossing horror movie ever. It was no shock when A24 locked in directors Danny Philippou and Michael Philippou to direct a sequel, as well as another original horror movie, titled Bring Her Back, which was announced last summer with Sally Hawkins in the lead role.
Today, A24 has revealed the first trailer for Bring Her Back, led by two-time Academy Award nominee Hawkins. Plot details have been kept under a veil of secrecy, and even the released synopsis keeps it a mystery:
A brother and sister uncover a terrifying ritual at the secluded home of their new foster mother.
The script is by Danny Philippou and Bill Hinzman. Billy Barratt, Sora Wong, Jonah Wren Phillips, Sally-Anne Upton, Stephen Phillips, and Mischa Heywood co-star.
A24 will release Bring Her Back in theaters on May 30th!
