Ryan Reynolds Is Writing A Non-Marvel Film To Reunite With Hugh Jackman And Shawn Levy

Deadpool & Wolverine had all of the perfect ingredients to become a $1.3B hit for Disney and Marvel Studios. And it all started with the core trio of director Shawn Levy, Hugh Jackman, and Ryan Reynolds. Levy had worked with both actors in the past and the chemistry between them was off the charts. And now it looks like the trio are going to be reunited if Reynolds has anything to say about it.

In an interview with Variety, Reynolds revealed that he’s writing a new project that will reunite him with Jackman and Levy. So what’s it about? Well, it won’t be for Marvel, so get that idea out of your head…

“I’m spending the year writing,” Reynolds said. “I’m writing a movie for myself, Hugh [Jackman] and Shawn [Levy] to do that is not Marvel.”

Makes sense to get the band back together. Levy and Reynols previously worked together on Free Guy and The Adam Project, while Levy and Jackman did Real Steel.

These guys just can’t do any wrong right now. But we’ve got a while before we see where this actually goes.  And then imagine all of the money studios are going to throw at them to acquire it!
