‘Inheritance’ Trailer: Phoebe Dynevor Is Target Of A Global Conspiracy In Neil Burger’s Thriller

Bridgerton and Fair Play breakout Phoebe Dynevor might not seem like the obvious choice to lead the action film Inheritance. But one look at the new trailer for Neil Burger’s film might change your mind.

As seen in the new Inheritance trailer, Dynevor stars with Rhys Ifans in the espionage thriller about a woman who discovers that her father is an ex-spy. She becomes the target of a global conspiracy while seeking the truth about him and also herself.

Looks and feels a lot like a Jason Bourne movie, which we could use more of, frankly.

The film is directed by Neil Burger, best known for the films The Illusionist, Divergent, Limitless, The Upside, and my personal favorite The Lucky Ones. He most recently directed Daisy Ridley in The Marsh King’s Daughter. Burger also co-wrote the script with Olen Steinhauer.

IFC Films will release Inheritance in theaters on January 24th 2025.

Synopsis: When Maya (Dynevor) learns that her father was once a spy, she suddenly finds herself at the center of an international conspiracy. In her quest for answers, Maya becomes a target and must travel the globe, mastering her father’s skills and unraveling the mysteries of his past in this gripping espionage thriller.
