‘Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl’ Teaser: Aardman’s Claymation Duo Take On A “Smart” Gnome And A Familiar Foe

Nearly two decades since Aardman released The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, they’re finally back with another claymation Wallace & Gromit film. Coming to Netflix is Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, so fans of the beloved franchise have something to look forward to.

And it seems that not even Wallace & Gromit can escape the threat of A.I., as the story involves the invention of a “smart” gnome that becomes self-aware.

The voice cast is led by Ben Whitehead, Peter Kay, Lauren Patel, Reece Shearsmith, Diane Morgan, Adjoa Andoh, Muzz Khan, and Lenny Henry. The animated film is directed by Nick Park and Merlin Crossingham. Behind the camera is Nick Park, an Aardman vet who also directed Chicken Run, The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, and Early Man. He co-directed the film with Merlin Crossingham.

SYNOPSIS: Aardman’s four-time Academy Award®-winning director Nick Park and Emmy Award-nominated Merlin Crossingham return with a brand new epic adventure, Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl. In this next installment, Gromit’s concern that Wallace is becoming too dependent on his inventions proves justified, when Wallace invents a “smart” gnome that seems to develop a mind of its own. When it emerges that a vengeful figure from the past might be masterminding things, it falls to Gromit to battle sinister forces and save his master… or Wallace may never be able to invent again!

Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl hits Netflix on January 2nd 2025.
