‘Snow White’ Teaser: Gal Gadot Has A Poison Apple For Rachel Zegler In Disney’s Live-Action Remake

Disney has made billions of dollars by simply rebooting their vast library of animated classics as live-action movies. And it’s never going to stop so if you haven’t gotten used to it yet, I’m sorry. The latest, and it’s surprising it took this long, is Snow White, and the first teaser has debuted featuring Rachel Zegler in the title role and Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen.

Remember Marc Webb? The guy who flamed out Sony’s Amazing Spider-Man movies, then dropped a pair of duds (Gifted and The Only Living Boy in New York) in 2017? Well, he kinda stumbled upwards with Disney hiring him to direct Snow White. Obviously, it’s a reimagining of the 1937 animated classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

The footage reveals a very faithful adaptation with all of the expected elements. But there’s reason to expect something different because the screenplay is written by Barbie‘s Greta Gerwig and Secretary writer Erin Cressida Wilson. They tend not to do anything that is status quo. That poison apple might be totally full of nutrients or something.

Martin Klebba (Pirates of the Caribbean) is the only confirmed dwarf as Grumpy. Others in the cast include Andrew Burnap, Ansu Kabia, Dujonna Gift, and Colin Michael Carmichael.

SYNOPSIS: Disney’s Snow White” is a live-action musical reimagining of the classic 1937 film.
