‘How To Kill Your Family’: Anya Taylor-Joy To Lead Netflix Series Based On

Following the critical acclaim of their previous collaboration, The Queen’s Gambit, it was inevitable that Anya Taylor-Joy and Netflix would work together again. And now we know what that project is, How to Kill Your Family.

Variety reports that Taylor-Joy will star in an adaptation of How to Kill Your Family, based on the book by Bella Mackie. The story follows a woman who decides to kill members of the rich, estranged family that has always rejected her.

“As soon as I turned the last page, I knew I had to be a part of bringing this story to life,” Taylor-Joy said. “After some (light) stalking of the inimitable Bella Mackie, I could not be more thrilled to be collaborating with the team that is Sally, Lizzie and Emma. I am looking forward to getting our hands even dirtier.”

As you can probably tell, Taylor-Joy will also produce the series and is clearly taking an active role in its development. It’s very early into the process but expect big news to follow.
