‘I Want Your Sex’: Cooper Hoffman To Be Olivia Wilde’s Sexual Muse In Gregg Araki’s New Thriller

Cooper Hoffman is about to become the sexual plaything of Olivia Wilde in Gregg Araki’s next film. Hoffman will star in I Want Your Sex, Araki’s psychosexual thriller that will begin production this October.

SYNOPSIS: “When fresh-faced Elliot (Hoffman) lands an exciting job for renowned artist, icon and provocateur Erika Tracy (Wilde), his fantasies come true as Erika taps him to become her sexual muse. But Elliot soon finds himself out of his depth as Erika takes him on a journey more profound than he ever could have imagined, into a world of sex, obsession, power, betrayal and murder.”

Hoffman, the son of the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, had his breakout role in Paul Thomas Anderson’s Licorice Pizza. He recently starred in Ethan Hawke’s Flannery O’Connor biopic Wildcat, and will play Dick Ebersol in Jason Reitman’s Saturday Night.

I Want Your Sex is the latest film from director co-writer Araki, known for introducing queer cinema to a larger audience with such films as Nowhere, The Doom Generation, and Mysterious Skin. He last directed 2014’s White Bird in a Blizzard starring Shailene Woodly. Araki co-wrote the script with his Now Apocalypse collaborator Karley Sciortino.
