After years of trying to get a Gambit movie going over at 20th Century Fox, Channing Tatum finally got his shot to play the Ragin’ Cajun in Deadpool & Wolverine. He was part of the resistance in the Void alongside Jennifer Garner’s Elektra, Wesley Snipes’ Blade, and Dafne Keen’s X-23. But now that the film is over, and we know that Keen will be staying on in the MCU, could Tatum be joining her?
A new deleted scene revealed by Ryan Reynolds teases Tatum staying on Gambit, and making the jump to the MCU. The footage shows Gambit walking among Cassandra Nova’s defeated crew, before smiling at a beaming light that is clearly one of Doctor Strange’s “Marvel Sparkle Circle” portals.
Keep in mind this scene was deleted for a reason. That said, the caption by Reynolds and response by Tatum suggest this won’t be the last time we see the actor as Gambit…

To which Tatum replied, “heeeheee! ♠️ Laissez les bon temps rouler! Let the times roll Cher!”
