Revealed back in 2022, Lynne Ramsay’s thriller Die My Love is expected to be big. For one thing, Ramsay is among the most respected directors working today. And second, Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence is already set to star. And now the film gets even bigger with an actor of equal stature; Robert Pattinson.
Deadline reports that Pattinson is in talks is in talks to join Lawrence in Die My Love. The film directed by Ramsay and co-written with Enda Walsh centers on a mother in a forgotten rural area who tries to maintain her sanity while battling psychosis.
Oh, and it’s supposedly a comedy, too. The film is an adaptation of Ariana Harwicz’s book. Martin Scorsese is putting some muscle behind it as producer.
Ramsay is best known for her films We Need to Talk about Kevin, and 2017’s You Were Never Really Here, which starred Joaquin Phoenix.
It’s unclear when Die My Love will arrive, but if filming begins this summer as planned, it could be late in 2025. Ramsay has completed production on her most recent film, Polaris, which stars Phoenix and Rooney Mara.
Pattonson was last seen as Bruce Wayne in The Batman, and will star in Bong Joon-ho’s Mickey 17 next in 2025.
