The Bear Season 3 is coming and FOMO is real. I feel it EVERY time this show is brought up. The Bear, which is now entering it’s third season on FX has been one of the most buzzed about shows since its premiered. No small feat to maintain that level of love for three years in today’s land of a million options. The series, which follows Jeremy Allen White‘s Carmy Berzatto, a top tier Chef who moves back to his home town of Chicago to run his family’s low-rent sandwich shop, is due to hit Hulu on June 27th. From the looks of the trailer that dropped last night it looks like Carmy has moved up quite a bit since season 1.
The trailer, that frames this season as one of growth, captures the uniquely hectic nature of the service industry while making sure to promise plenty of humor, inter-personal conflict and, of course, mouth watering entree’s. It looks like the central story is going to be about Carmy bringing in fellow Chef Sydney as a partner in this fine dining venture and judging by the stubbornness and short tempers on display I’m sure we can expect plenty of drama. All that aside, all I needed was the inclusion of Ebon Moss-Bachrach who first hit big with HBO’s Girls but fell into my “Fav Actors” list as Micro on Netflix’s The Punisher. The guy is just magnetic.
