‘Damaged’ Trailer: Samuel L. Jackson And Vincent Cassel Track A Serial Killer In Scotland

It’s a busy Vincent Cassel kind of day. Following the release of the trailer for The Three Musketeers: Milady, now we get Cassel in a very different kind of movie. Damaged sees the French actor paired up with Samuel L. Jackson in a serial killer crime thriller set in Scotland.

The film stars Jackson as a Chicago detective sent to Scotland to investigate a series of murders with a very familiar pattern.

Along with Jackson and Cassel, the film stars Gianni Capaldi, Laura Haddock, John Hannah, Katie Dickie, Brian McCardie. Behind the camera is Terry McDonough, known for directing episodes of The Expanse, Better Call Saul, and more.

Here’s the synopsis: How do you catch a brilliant monster? When a sadistic murderer surfaces in Scotland, terrified local authorities call on a Chicago police detective who investigated a killing spree with the same horrific pattern five years earlier. Samuel L. Jackson and Vincent Cassel star in this shocking thriller about two detectives with tortured pasts trying to stop a merciless serial killer before he claims his next victim.

Damaged opens in theaters and digitally on April 12th.
