‘May December’: First Look At Natalie Portman And Julianne Moore In Todd Haynes’ Latest

Four years after Dark Waters, Todd Haynes is back and headed to Cannes with May December. With Natalie Portman and Haynes favorite Julianne Moore leading the cast, the first look at the two Oscar-winning actresses has arrived.

Portman stars as an actress who embeds herself with an infamous tabloid couple known for the large age gap between them. The age difference hasn’t stopped them from living happily together for 20 years, though, while Portman’s character is there to do research for an upcoming movie role.

Haynes and Moore are never too far apart from one another in their careers. They have worked together on Safe, Far from Heaven, Wonderstruck, and I’m Not There.

Expect May December to be one of the highlight films at Cannes, where it’ll likely find a distributor with eyes on the awards season. [Variety]
