‘The Mandalorian’: Moff Gideon Is Ready To Wipe Out Mandalore In New Poster, Actor Promises A Heartbreaking Finale

Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) made quite an impression when he showed up in The Mandalorian season 3 episode, “The Spies”. Decked out in impressive Beskar metal armor, and surrounded by Beskar-clad stormtroopers, he put a serious hurting on Din Djarin, Bo-Katan, and their reunited Mandalorian clan. The Great Purge of Mandalore was coming to fruition.

With the season finale just a few days away, Lucasfilm has given Moff Gideon his own character poster. No special armor in this image, though, which is kinda lame. But he still looks like quite the proper dickhead, fitting for his position as part of the Shadow Council. If we’re lucky, the next episode might even feature an appearance by Grand Admiral Thrawn, who got mentioned a lot last episode.

Meanwhile, fans might want to gird up their loins for a heartbreaking finale. Brendan Wayne, actor and in-suit double for Pedro Pascal, promises it will be an emotional punch to the gut…

“This next episode is gonna make you wish you hadn’t asked for [another episode]. It might just hurt too much”, Wayne said on his IG.

Oh boy. The Mandalorian season 3 finale hits Disney+ next Wednesday, April 19th, once again directed by Rick Famuyiwa.
