‘White House Plumbers’ Trailer: Justin Theroux And Woody Harrelson Star In HBO’s Watergate Miniseries

No matter how deep the corruption of the Trump Administration goes, Hollywood will never let us forget that the Watergate scandal came first. The criminality of the Nixon Administration is a frequent topic for films and TV shows, and the latest is HBO series White House Plumbers. So what’s different about this take on Watergate? Well, for one, it doesn’t center on Richard Nixon.

Woody Harrelson and Justin Theroux star as Watergate accomplices E. Howard Hunt and G. Gordon Liddy, who bungled everything and destroyed the very Administration they were trying so hard to protect.

Alex Gregory and Peter Huyck adapt Egil & Matthew Krogh‘s book, Integrity. They’re joined by Veep showrunner David Mandel who directs all five episodes. The cast includes Domhnall Gleeson, Lena Headey, Kiernan Shipka, Ike Barinholtz,  Judy Greer, Toby Huss, Kathleen Turner, Kim Coates, and Yul Vazquez. F. Murray Abraham and John Carroll Lynch.

White House Plumbers his HBO on May 1st, after initially being planned for this month.
