‘Swarm’ Trailer: Dominique Fishback Stars In Donald Glover & Janine Nabers’ Series About Extreme Fandom

The Internet and social media have made it very easy for fandoms to spin out of control. Whether its fans obsessed with their favorite shows, their favorite characters, or most dangerously, their favorite actors, it’s easy to see how simply liking something just isn’t enough for some people. And that’s where Donald Glover and Janine Nabers’ new series Swarm comes in.

Starring Dominique Fishback, Chloë Bailey, and Damson Idris, Swarm centers on a young woman whose obsession with her favorite musical artist goes to the extreme. She’s part of the “Swarm”, the name that fans of this musician give themselves. But being part of the group is more than just a passing thing for her and soon begins to dominate her life.

Nabers, who worked with Glover on the hit FX series Atlanta, acts as showrunner. She also co-created and co-produces the series with Glover.

Swarm hits Prime Video on March 17th.
