James Gunn Says Zack Snyder Supports The New DCU, Shoots Down Snyderverse/Netflix Rumors

Zack Snyder die-hards will always find some new way to try and extend the life of his DCEU, emboldened by forcing Warner Bros. into releasing Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Their latest hashtag gambit, #SellSnyderVerseToNetflix, is an attempt to get Warner Bros. Discovery to sell Snyder’s DCEU to Netflix so that superhero arc can keep on rollin’. That’s a RIDICULOUS notion, and not that he really needed to but James Gunn has come out and debunked the whole thing as bluntly as possible…

That last bit must have Snyder heads blowin’ smoke out of their ears. Does Snyder actually dig what Gunn is doing with the new DCU? Gunn elaborates…

First of all, it would be a terrible business decision to sell away the rights to everything Snyder and Co. did for so many years. Those films will make money in perpetuity, DCU or not. And Snyder already has enough on his plate with an entire Army of the Dead franchise and his upcoming Netflix film, Rebel Moon. It’s time to move on, folks.
