The 80th Golden Globes: See The Complete List of Winners

'The Fabelmans' and 'The Banshees of Inisherin' Win Big

The 80th annual Golden Globes came to a late end this evening after a gap year and a racial reckoning. With an untelevised ceremony last year amidst a slew of scandals and calls for more diversity within its voting body, NBC and the Hollywood Press Association moved forward with the event this year with comedian Jerrod Carmichael serving as host.

The awkward evening proved fruitful for The Banshees of Inisherin, winning three awards for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for Colin Farrell, Best Screenplay for Martin McDonagh, and Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy. Steven Spielberg won Best Director and Best Motion Picture-Drama for his semi-autobiographical film The Fabelmans. Ke Huy Quan triumphantly won for his supporting role for Everything Everywhere All At Once along with castmate Michelle Yeoh winning in the Outstanding Actress in Best Performance in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy.
