Cinema Royale: Talking The Best & Worsts Of Sundance 2023

We are back from the seriously frigid climate of Park City, following what has been another great Sundance Film Festival. On this episode, I’ll be joined by Cortland Jacoby, who made her first in-person trip to the festival, to look back at some of our favorites and the stuff they could’ve left buried in the snow.

On this episode we’ll discuss the controversial Magazine Dreams with Jonathan Majors, Brandon Cronenberg’s Infinity Pool, the top-selling thriller Fair Play, the wrestling drama Cassandro, and many more. We’ll also talk about whether anything we’ve seen could end up a Best Picture winner similar to when CODA debuted.

All of this and more. You can subscribe to Cinema Royale wherever you get your podcasts, and be sure to do the same on Youtube! Follow the Punch Drunk Critics and Cinema Royale!
