‘The Instigators’: Matt Damon And Casey Affleck To Star In Doug Liman’s Crime Film For Apple

Doug Liman and Matt Damon are pretty familiar with one another, having worked together years ago on The Bourne Identity. Well, now they’re reuniting for a new Apple Original Films project, The Instigators, that will also feature Damon’s pal, Casey Affleck.

Damon and Affleck will star as thieves who go on the run with their therapist after a heist goes wrong. The film was penned by City On the Hill writer Chuck Maclean. Damon and Affleck will also produce, joined by Casey’s big brother, Ben.

Damon and Affleck have also worked together multiple times in the past, from the 2002 Gus Van Sant film Gerry to Manchester By The Sea in 2015. Both actors will be seen in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film Oppenheimer. [Deadline]
