‘The Gorge’: Anya Taylor-Joy Joins Miles Teller In Scott Derrickson’s Genre-Bending Film For Apple

Just a couple of months ago we learned The Black Phone and Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson would team up with Top Gun: Maverick‘s Miles Teller for a mysterious new film, The Gorge. Details weren’t known about it then, and there isn’t much to learn now. But we do know that Teller will have an amazing co-star to work alongside as Anya Taylor-Joy has joined the cast.

Apple has swooped in to acquire the rights to The Gorge, described as a “high-action, genre-bending love story.” And joining Teller is the red-hot Anya Taylor-Joy, who was most recently seen in The Northman and will dine in the culinary horror The Menu next. She’s currently shooting George Miller’s Fury Road prequel, Furiosa.

But as for further info on The Gorge, that remains elusive. One thing is for sure, and it’s that Derrickson could have one of the most anticipated films of the next few years on his hands.
