‘Hunt’ Trailer: ‘Squid Game’ Emmy Winner Lee Jung-Jae Directs And Stars In Korean Spy Thriller

What’s a good way for Lee Jung-Jae to follow up his historic Emmy win for Squid Game? With the debut U.S. trailer for his feature directorial debut, Hunt, a Korean spy thriller that premiered earlier this year at Cannes.

Lee Jung-Jae directs and stars in the film as a KCIA Foreign Unit chief who squares off against a Domestic Unit chief in exposing a spy deeply embedded in the agency. When a leak potentially jeopardizes national security, the two agents must discover the mole or be accused of espionage themselves.  All of this while an assassination threat against the South Korean president looms.

The film also stars Jung Woo Sung (The Good, the Bad, the Weird), and fellow Squid Game actor Heo Sung-tae.

Hunt opens in theaters on December 2nd.
