Naomi Watts and Bobby Cannavale are moving to a new neighborhood in the upcoming horror/thriller series The Watcher. American Horror Story and Glee creators Ryan Murphy and Ryan Murphy bring the true story of a family terrorized by mysterious letters to Netflix.
What is supposed to be their dream home, turns out to be their nightmare when The Brannocks move into their New Jersey mansion. Soon after they move they receive multiple letters from someone called ‘The Watcher’. This show is sure to bring the horror but don’t count out comedic elements just yet.
This cast is stacked. Jennifer Coolidge as a pushy real estate agent, Mia Farrow in pigtails. Noma Dumezweni, Joe Mantello, Terry Kinney also star. I’m most excited for Richard Kind and Margo Martindale playing a meddlesome married couple, watching their new neighbors from their lawn chairs. I’m so excited to see where this story goes and how campy Murphy and Brennan make it.
The Watcher comes to Netflix October 13.
