Thor: Love and Thunder comes storming into theaters in about two weeks, and honestly, I’m in lockdown mode. I don’t want to see anything more about it, preferring to save all of those wonderful Asgardian gags for the big screen. And if you want to go into the film knowing as little as possible, it might be a wise idea for you to also skip out on the below footage.
Not that there’s anything too spoilery in either, but they are both pretty funny and offer something you may want to avoid. In the first official clip, we see Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and his rocky buddy Korg (Taika Waititi) discussing the “mighty” Jane Foster (Natalie Portman). Not only has Thor lost his girl, but also his beloved hammer, Mjolnir.
In the brief minute-long trailer, Thor gives a rousing speech fit for a son of Asgard, only to be interrupted by Miek who may or may not be female now? Was that always the case? I don’t think so.
Thor: Love and Thunder looks hilarious, and I won’t be surprised if it’s the best Marvel movie we see this year. Look for it to hit theaters on July 8th!
