‘V/H/S/Beyond’ Interview: Alanah Pearce Discusses Her Role in the Latest Entry of the Horror Anthology Franchise

V/H/S/Beyond is the latest gore-filled with a sci-fi edge entry in the continually fun V/H/S anthology franchise. I was so excited to sit down and talk with Alanah Pearce, star of the segment “Stowaway”, about her time on the film.

The “Stowaway” segment follows a young journalist who is in the New Mexico desert investigating a phenomenon of mysterious lights appearing in the sky. The key thing that drew me to this segment, other then Alanah’s involvement of course, was that it was written and directed by neo-horror royalty Mike Flanagan and Kate Siegel, respectively. The husband/wife team who have been involved in some of my favorite horror projects of the last year like The Haunting of Hill House and Midnight Mass. The key difference this time around is that, while Flanagan wrote the segment, Siegel got behind the camera for the first time making her directorial debut.

Alanah was a blast to talk to as we covered everything from V/H/S/Beyond to her boxing career and all the way around to the best way to make a horror game! Check out the interview below and look for V/H/S/Beyond now streaming on Shudder!
