‘Silo’ Trailer: Rebecca Ferguson Has A Mystery To Solve In Apple’s Dystopian Sci-Fi Series

Apple TV+ is quickly becoming the home for those who can’t get enough dystopian TV shows in their life. Next month they’ll be able to add one more, Silo, a series adaptation of Hugh Howey’s bestselling novel trilogy. So what makes this one different? Well, for one thing, it’ll be led by kick-ass Mission: Impossible star Rebecca Ferguson.

Ferguson leads an incredible ensemble that includes Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, David Oyelowo, Rashida Jones, and Tim Robbins. They play the last remnants of humanity in a post-apocalyptic world, forced to live in an underground silo to protect themselves from the dangers outside.

The series was created by Graham Yost (Band of Brothers, Justified) who also acts as showrunner. Passengers filmmaker Morten Tyldum directs the first three episodes.

Silo runs for ten episodes on Apple TV+ beginning May 5th.

“Silo” is the story of the last ten thousand people on earth, their mile-deep home protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside. However, no one knows when or why the silo was built and any who try to find out face fatal consequences. Ferguson stars as Juliette, an engineer, who seeks answers about a loved one’s murder and tumbles onto a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to discover that if the lies don’t kill you, the truth will.
