The best reviews of Jason Statham’s career were for 2024’s The Beekeeper, a pairing with director David Ayer that yielded over $160M at the box office, also among the actor’s best. We knew Statham would return as badass assassin Adam Clay for a sequel, and now the trailer for The Beekeeper 2 is here. You’ll be shocked to learn that Clay still hasn’t found the peaceful, quiet retirement he’s been seeking.
Timo Tjahjanto (Nobody 2) takes over as director on The Beekeeper 2, which finds Clay tracking down a group of Beekeepers who have gone rogue, with plans to take control of the government, starting with the death of the United States President. Clay is the only one who can take them down, and this time he’s got a cool, super-appropriate new ride, a fully-armed 1969 Dodge Super Bee.
Jeremy Irons, Emmy Raver-Lampman, and Jemma Redgrave return to the cast. They’re joined by Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and Mission: Impossible-Dead Reckoning‘s Pom Klementieff, along with Yara Shahidi and AEW and WWE legend, Adam “Edge” Copeland!
The Beekeeper 2 hits theaters on January 15th 2027.
