David Leitch has quickly built a reputation as one of the preeminent action filmmakers around, utilizing his stuntman expertise to craft big-budget spectacles such as The Fall Guy, Bullet Train, and Atomic Blonde. He switches gears ever so slightly with How to Rob a Bank, a heist film that will see the reunion of Mad Max: Fury Road‘s Nicholas Hoult and Zoe Kravitz.
How to Rob a Bank centers on a crew of social media-savvy bank robbers who go viral by broadcasting their daring heists. But with Internet fame comes attention by the law, and they are hotly pursued by a veteran FBI agent and skilled software engineer, forcing them to push past the limits to pull off the most ambitious heist yet.
Also in the cast are Pete Davidson, Anna Sawai, Rhenzy Feliz, Christian Slater as Walton, with Pete Davidson and John C. Reilly. Leitch directs from a script by Mark Bianculli, who also wrote the upcoming Cliffhanger reboot.
