‘In The Blink Of An Eye’ Trailer: Andrew Stanton’s Ambitious Sci-Fi Drama Hits Hulu This Month

The wait has been a long time coming for Andrew Stanton’s In the Blink of an Eye, but that wait is over. Stanton, the popular Pixar filmmaker behind Wall-E, returns to live-action with this ambitious project that spans the past, present, and far-flung future, telling three stories that explore human connection, life, death, and rebirth.

In the Blink of an Eye recently had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, and will debut on Hulu later this month. The film stars Rashida Jones, Kate McKinnon, Daveed Diggs, Jorge Vargas, and Tanaya Beatty. Colby Day wrote the screenplay which found a spot on the Black List.

SYNOPSIS: “Three storylines, spanning thousands of years, intersect and reflect on hope, connection, and the circle of life.”

As I said in my review, Stanton is a filmmaker we all want to see succeed. In the Blink of an Eye is his first live-action film since John Carter bombed in 2012, and while it’s clear that it means a lot to him, the whole thing falls flat.

Searchlight Pictures will release In the Blink of an Eye on Hulu on February 27th.
