It’s Homelander’s world, and we’re all just living in it…at least for one more season. Over the weekend at CCXP, Prime Video revealed the trailer for the fifth and final season of The Boys. Picking up on the end of season four, Billy Butcher and his crew are trying to save an America under Homelander’s dictatorship. If you think things are bad in our world, imagine if the President was both unhinged and had Superman-level powers.
Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry, and Daveed Diggs lead the cast for this final, bloody-splattered chapter.
Prime Video has given The Boys season five an April 8th 2026 release date, leading to the series finale on May 20th.
SYNOPSIS: It’s Homelander’s world, completely subject to his erratic, egomaniacal whims. Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are imprisoned in a “Freedom Camp.” Annie struggles to mount a resistance against the overwhelming Supe force. Kimiko is nowhere to be found. But when Butcher reappears, ready and willing to use a virus that will wipe all Supes off the map, he sets in motion a chain of events that will forever change the world and everyone in it. It’s the climax, people.
