Director Michael Dowse is mainly known for comedies, such as FUBAR, Take Me Home Tonight, Goon, and Stuber, an action-comedy that paired him for the first time with Dave Bautista. Now the two are together again for the Texas action flick Trap House, starring Bautista as an undercover DEA agent dealing with an unusual family problem.
As seen in the trailer, Bautista’s DEA agent and his partner are on the hunt when their rebellious teenage kids use their parents’ intel to rob a dangerous drug cartel. They should at least get grounded for that, right? No dessert for a week?
The film also stars Avatar breakout Jack Champion, IT star Sophia Lillis, plus Bobby Cannavale, Tony Dalton, Kate del Castillo, and Whitney Peak.
SYNOPSIS: In El Paso, Texas, an undercover DEA agent and his partner embark on a game of cat and mouse with an audacious group of thieves: their own rebellious teenagers.
Trap House opens in theaters on November 14th.
