‘The Madness’ Teaser: Colman Domingo Goes On The Run In Netflix’s New Conspiracy Thriller Series

This has been a quiet year for Colman Domingo, and yet he’s still on quite a roll with his performance in Sing Sing building momentum to a possible Oscar nomination. If that happens, it would be Domingo’s second in a row, following Rustin. The Euphoria actor is also planning his directorial debut, Scandalous, which should begin shooting next year. Before that, we’ll get to see Domingo in the new mystery thriller series, The Madness, coming to Netflix in November.

Domingo stars as a political consultant and TV pundit who goes away to write a novel, only to be witness to the murder of a well-known white supremacist. Framed for the crime, he’s forced to go on the run and try to clear his name.

Sounds pretty cool. Domingo stars alongside Marsha Stephanie Blake, Gabrielle Graham, John Ortiz, Tamsin Topolski, TJ Mixson, Deon Cole, Hamish Allan-Headley, Ennis Esmer, Allison Wright, Bradley Whitford, and Stephen McKinley Henderson. Stephen Belber (The Laramie Project) created the series with episodes directed by Clement Virgo (Brother, The Wire).

Netflix premieres The Madness on November 28th.

SYNOPSIS: Muncie Daniels is a political consultant-turned-TV pundit who may have lost his way in life.
