Everyone’s favorite fuzzy blue alien is back and totally in CGI for the new Lilo & Stitch live-action film, based on the beloved 2002 classic! Don’t act surprised. All of your Disney animated favorites are going to get the live-action remake treatment, and you already know this! After dropping a brief teaser last fall, Disney has unveiled the first full trailer featuring the chaotic renegade alien.
Chris Sanders returns as the voice of Stitch, and he’s joined in the cast by Maia Kealoha as Lilo. Sydney Agudong, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, Hannah Waddingham, Courtney B. Vance, and Zach Galifianakis co-star.
The film is directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, whose debut stop-motion film Marcel the Shell with Shoes On was good experience for this one.
Lilo & Stitch opens in theaters on May 23rd 2025.
