Kogonada’s ‘A Big Bold Beautiful Journey With Margot Robbie And Colin Farrell Delayed To September

Director Kogonada has made quite a name for himself with a pair of small dramas with big impact, Columbus and After Yang. His latest, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, is set to star Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell, making it his first star-driven project. However, we’re going to be waiting a bit longer for it as Sony has pushed back its release date.

THR reports that Sony Pictures has pushed A Big Bold Beautiful Journey from May 9th to September 19th. That puts it in direct competition with the Marlon Wayans sports-horror film Him, and James L. Brooks’ political comedy Ella McCay starring Emma Mackey.

Penned by Seth Reiss, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey is a female-centric film about a pair of strangers and the unimaginable journey that ties them together. Further details than that have been made hard to come by.

Joining Farrell and Robbie in the cast are Jodie Turner-Smith, Lily Rabe, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Billy Magnussen, Hamish Linklater, Sarah Gadon, and Chloe East.

Hopefully, first-look images and a trailer are coming sooner rather than later.
