‘The Studio’ Teaser: Seth Rogen Gets Ripped By Martin Scorsese In New Apple TV+ Series

Can we take a moment to appreciate all that Seth Rogen has done for television? When we look back at his career he might be known less for his comedy roles than for the groundbreaking shows he’s developed such as Preacher, The Boys, and Invincible. And now Rogen is back with a new Apple TV+ series, The Studio, about a subject he’s extremely familiar with.

Rogen stars in The Studio as a movie studio exec trying to figure out how to stay relevant and make movies that matter in a struggling industry. So that’s definitely something Rogen knows about from his time on the inside making movies such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, Good Boys, The Disaster Artist, and many more.

Joining Rogen in the cast are Catherine O’Hara, Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz, Chase Sui Wonders, and Bryan Cranston. Rogen is deeply involved in every aspect as actor, writer, exec-producer, and director.

As you can tell from he new teaser, this show is going to be full of fun cameos including Martin Scorsese who rips Rogen’s character for being “talentless” and “spineless.”

The Studio hits Apple TV+ on March 26th 2025 and runs for 10 episodes.

SYNOPSIS: In “The Studio,” Seth Rogen stars as Matt Remick, the newly appointed head of embattled Continental Studios. As movies struggle to stay alive and relevant, Matt and his core team of infighting executives battle their own insecurities as they wrangle narcissistic artists and craven corporate overlords in the ever-elusive pursuit of making great films. With their power suits masking their neverending sense of panic, every party, set visit, casting decision, marketing meeting, and award show presents them with an opportunity for glittering success or career-ending catastrophe. As someone who eats, sleeps, and breathes movies, it’s the job Matt’s been pursuing his whole life, and it may very well destroy him.
