Check out the cast for this one. Deadline reports Chloe Grace Moretz, Anthony Ramos, Manny Jacinto, Billie Lourd, Isabel May, and Lukas Gage will star in Love Language, a new film by writer/director Joey Power.
The romantic comedy Love Language‘s plot is being kept under wraps for now. Shooting is expected to begin later this month.
Power previously co-wrote and co-directed with Hannah Marks the 2018 dramedy After Everything led by Jeremy Allen White and Maika Monroe. He also co-wrote and produced with Marks the hilarious comedy Banana Split, which starred Marks and Liana Liberato.
Moretz most recently voiced the title character in Netflix’s acclaimed animated film, Nimona. Ramos was last seen in the summer blockbuster, Twisters, and will have a role in Kathryn Bigelow’s next film. Jacinto is best known for his role in The Good Place, and was last seen as Qimir/The Stranger in Star Wars: The Acolyte.
May is part of the Taylor Sheridan universe for her starring role in 1883, and narrator role in 1923. Gage was last seen as the jerk villain in Road House and has a key role in this week’s horror sequel Smile 2. Lourd has kept busy in the recent Star Wars trilogy, as well as her roles in Booksmart, Ticket to Paradise, and Gia Coppola’s The Last Showgirl.
