‘The Front Room’ Trailer: Brandy Fights For Control Of Her Newborn Child In Sam & Max Eggers’ New Horror

The Eggers clan rolls deep when it comes to horror. And while Robert is the big name in the family right now with such films as The Witch, The Lighthouse, and the upcoming Nosferatu, his brothers Sam and Max have their own thriller on the way. The Front Room is set up at A24 and stars Brandy as a mother in a fight for possession of her child.

As seen in the new trailer, The Front Room pits Brandy against Poor Things actress Kathryn Hunter. Brandy plays a new mother who goes to war against her stepmother who is trying to take control of her newborn baby.

Max and Sam Eggers wrote the screenplay, which looks like it’s going to have some really juicy lines that could make this film a guilty pleasure. Already I can see audiences howling at the screen and quoting it long after it’s over.

Also in the cast are Andrew Burnap and Neal Huff.

The Front Room hits theaters on September 6th.

SYNOPSIS: Everything goes to hell for newly-pregnant Belinda (Brandy) after her mother-in-law (Kathryn Hunter) moves in. As the diabolical guest tries to get her claws on the child, Belinda must draw the line somewhere…
