‘Skeleton Crew’ New Look: Jude Law Teases “References” To Prior ‘Star Wars’ Projects

The response to The Acolyte was decidedly mixed, but now that the show is in the rear view, it’s time to look forward to Disney’s next Star Wars series. That would be Skeleton Crew, described as an Amblin-esque adventure about a group of kids lost in the galaxy and trying to find their way back home.

People has debuted new images from Skeleton Crew, which stars Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith, and Ryan Kiera Armstrong. The most familiar face on the show will be Jude Law who teased a new story but with plenty of references to previous Star Wars storylines…

“It is a fun place to be, the universe of Star Wars. And there are great references to old films and recent episodes and series. There’s a lot of originality and I hope that will bring the feeling of fun to those who watch it.”

Also in the cast are Kerry Condon, Tunde Adebimpe, Jaleel White, and Nick Frost.

Disney+ will premiere Star Wars: Skeleton Crew on December 3rd.

SYNOPSIS: When four kids make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet, they get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. Finding their way home, meeting unlikely allies and enemies will be a greater adventure than they ever imagined.
