‘Wake Up Dead Man’ Adds Jeremy Renner And Mila Kunis To Mystery Sequel’s Ensemble

At this rate, Benoit Blanc is going to have a lot of suspects to wade through to solve his next mystery, deemed the most “dangerous” of his career. Two more names have joined the cast of Rian Johnson’s Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, and they are Jeremy Renner and Mila Kunis!

Renner and Kunis are part of a growing ensemble that includes Josh O’Connor, Cailee Spaeny, Glenn Close, Andrew Scott, and Kerry Washington. Daniel Craig is back, too, naturally, as Detective Benoit Blanc. And he’s got a case to solve.

This continues the comeback for Renner following serious injuries that nearly took his life over a year ago. He’s got Mayor of Kingstown season three as his main gig right now, but of course, we know him from his role as Hawkeye in Marvel’s Avengers movies, plus Mission: Impossible, The Bourne Legacy, and lots of others.

Kunis is best known for That 70’s Show, Bad Moms, Oz the Great and Powerful, and most importantly American Psycho 2. She’ll be seen next in Goodrich opposite Michael Keaton. Knives Out 3 is her chance to reunite with Close, who she starred with in Four Good Days.

Wake Up Dead Man is expected to hit Netflix in 2025. [Deadline]
