A pair of recent Oscar winners are coming together for the upcoming action film, With Love, from Universal and producer David Leitch, known for Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2, and The Fall Guy. Ke Huy Quan (Everything Everywhere All At Once) was the first to be cast earlier this year, and now Deadline reports he will be joined by West Side Story breakout, Ariana DeBose.
Details on With Love are being kept under wraps, but it will be directed by acclaimed veteran stunt coordinator and fight coordinator Jonathan Eusebio. Josh Stoddard, Luke Passmore and Matthew Murray wrote the script.
DeBose lobbied hard for the role once she heard about it, and won it after chemistry tests with Quan impressed the studio. She’s had a busy year already with roles in Argylle and the sci-fi drama I.S.S. She will be seen coming up in Sony’s Kraven the Hunter, and Chris Pine’s directorial debut, Poolman.
