‘Little Wing’ Interviews: Brooklynn Prince, Simon Khan, Susan Orlean, & More On The Soaring Coming-Of-Age Film

Brooklynn Prince has come a long way in her short career. From her breakout role in The Florida Project to facing down the Cocaine Bear to now racing pigeons alongside Brian Cox in Little Wing (review here), Prince is soaring as one of today’s best young actresses.

In Little Wing, Prince plays Kaitlyn, a teen struggling to cope with the divorce of her parents and an impending move away from her childhood home. To help cure her mother’s financial problems, she sets out to steal a valuable carrier pigeon, only to forge a bond with its owner, a Vietnam War veteran with wisdom to spare.

Prince stars alongside Succession‘s Brian Cox, Yellowstone‘s Kelly Reilly, plus Simon Khan who plays her brother Matt, who has gone silent since their parents’ divorce. The film is directed by Dean Israelite, who last helmed the Power Rangers movie, and is based on an article by Susan Orlean.

I had the pleasure to chat with Brooklynn Prince along with Simon Khan about Little Wing. I also spoke with Isrealite, Orlean, and screenwriter John Gatins, who talked about this unique little coming-of-age tale.

Little Wing is streaming now on Paramount+. Check out my interviews below.
