X-Force Lives! Rob Delaney To Return As Peter In ‘Deadpool 3’

I’ve still got some deep-rooted resentment over the way X-Force was treated in Deadpool 2, but it looks like I’ll have to get over it. Why? Because one of the only surviving members, the most useless member, is coming back for Deadpool 3!

Deadline reports that Rob Delaney will return as Peter in Deadpool 3. If you don’t remember, (and how could you forget???), Peter was a normal, everyday dude who tried to join Deadpool’s X-Force team even though he has no actual skills. While the rest of the team is butchered in hilarious fashion, Peter somehow lives to cower another day.

So what’s Peter going to be doing now? It’s possible he’s only there to have a funny scene or two. Or he could be hanging out with Deadpool and Wolverine, hiding in the corner while they kick ass. Could be funny.

Delaney joins a cast led by Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, along with Morena Baccarin, Karan Soni, Leslie Uggams, Matthew Macfadyen, and Emma Corrin. Where the heck is Brianna Hildebrand, by the way? Surely we haven’t seen the last of Negasonic Teenage Warhead??

Deadpool 3 opens on November 8th 2024.
