‘Secret Invasion’ Trailer: Nick Fury Goes Dark To Stop A Skrull Takeover Of Earth

As Marvel enters Phase 5, the MCU enters what could be its darkest time with Secret Invasion. The espionage series sees Samuel L. Jackson return as Nick Fury, picking up after events teased in Captain Marvel.  With episodes set to hit Disney+ this summer, a new trailer reveals the true danger of Fury’s fight to save Earth.

Secret Invasion also stars Cobie Smulders who returns as Maria Hill, Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross, and Ben Mendelsohn as Fury’s Skrull friend, Talos, who has built a life on Earth with his family. When Fury learns that a cabla of shapeshifting Skrulls has invaded Earth, taking over positions of power around the globe, Talos joins in the fight.  We also recently learned that Emilia Clarke plays Talos’ grown-up daughter, G’iah, and Kingsley Ben-Adir is the villainous Gravik.

Also in the cast are Olivia Colman as MI6 agent Sonya Falsworth, Don Cheadle as War Machine, plus Dermot Mulroney as President Ritson, Killian Scott, Christopher McDonald, Charlayne Woodard, and Carmen Ejogo. Ali Selim directs each episode.

Secret Invasion hits Disney+ on June 21st.
