‘Deadpool 3’ Brings Back Morena Baccarin As Vanessa, Stefan Kapicic’s Colossus Also Returns

Wade Wilson is getting the entire band back together! Just a few days ago, it looked as if Morena Baccarin, who has played fiancé Vanessa in both previous Deadpool movies, wouldn’t be returning. Or at least, she wasn’t sure that a deal would be struck for her return. But things have worked out, as Deadline reports Baccarin will reprise the role. Not only that, but a certain organic-steel X-Man will be coming back, too.

Joining Baccarin in Deadpool 3 is Stefan Kapicic, who has played the Russian X-Man known as Colossus since the first movie. They join Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Karan Soni, Leslie Uggams, Matthew Macfadyen, and Emma Corrin in the superhero sequel, the first to be officially part of the MCU after starting at Fox.

Okay, so everyone isn’t back yet. Still up in the air are the returns of Zazie Beetz as Dominio, Josh Brolin as Cable, Julian Dennison as Firefist, and Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead.

Directed by Shawn Levy, Deadpool 3 opens November 8th 2024.
