Zack Snyder’s DCEU Films To Screen At “Full Circle” SnyderCon 2023 Event

Over the last week or so, Zack Snyder has been dropping mysterious teases hinting at some kind of release of his fan-favorite SnyderVerse of films. With rumors swirling, mostly by his legion of die-hards, that Netflix wants to buy the SnyderVerse, or that his films can somehow live on elsewhere, it seemed like Snyder was just feeding into it. Well, he was, but for good reason, because he will be screening his contributions to the DCEU next month.

Snyder will screen Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and the Snyder Cut of Justice League at the  “Full Circle” SnyderCon event on April 28th, 29th and 30th. The final night will feature Justice League in IMAX, too.

Snyder said during a livestream, “It’s kind of a nice coming together of different things. I had always wanted to screen my three DC movies in the theater, together, and it was always one of those things that we were never sure would ever happen. Because the IMAX version of Justice League, we have screened it a couple of times in the black-and-white version [Zack Snyder’s Justice League: Justice Is Gray Edition]. I just wasn’t sure there was going to be another time when we could get the color version into the theater.”

In regards to the Snyder Cut screening of Justice League, Snyder added…

“I really wanted everyone to see the movie in IMAX because it was formatted for IMAX. It’s really designed for an IMAX experience. When you see it in IMAX, I think it’s completely different from when you see it on TV.”

Tickets go on sale later this month, so if you’re interested it might be good to keep an eye on Snyder’s Twitter feed. The SnyderCon event will benefit the  American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the Autumn Snyder Tribute Fund.
